Sensory Integration Dysfunction (DSI) becomes Sensory Processing Disorder (SPD).

A change is proposed for the terminology related to the diagnosis of this disorder. In short, we propose Sensory Processing Disorder as an umbrella term that includes three primary diagnostic groups (Sensory Modulation Disorder, Sensory Discrimination Disorder, and Sensory-Based Motor Disorder) and five subtypes.
