The SPD Network and all of its programs are supported by the KID Foundation, a nonprofit organization based in Littleton, Colorado.

• Scientific research to understand what is happening in the brains of people with SPD
• Educational workshops and outreach efforts, which help parents and professionals to understand this disorder and to seek proper treatment for children
• Advocacy efforts, which will ensure that Sensory Processing Disorder is recognized by the medical community and the insurance industry, thus helping children to get properly diagnosed and their parents to get insurance coverage of treatment
• Treatment scholarships for those who cannot afford treatment
