The SPD Foundation is the nation's foremost advocate for recognition of Sensory Processing Disorder by the American Psychiatric Association and other diagnostic systems that recognize and classify developmental, neurological, mental, and cognitive disorders. The Foundation is also a tireless champion of intervention, accommodation, and understanding of SPD in schools, health care practices, homes, and wherever people live, play, work, or seek services.
